Whit's Savory Breakfast Pie

So one of my best girl friends showed me this delicious recipe and thought I'd share with you...
(also can you tell we love cream cheese around here??)

Whit's Savory Breakfast Pie
1 lb Owens Pork Sausage
2 cans of reduced fat crescent rolls
2 pkgs of reduced fat cream cheese

Layer your first can of crescent rolls on your pie pan. Doesn't have to be pretty, but fill in all your holes!

Bake at 375*F for a couple (~3)  minutes... just enough to puff up the rolls.

Meanwhile, cook your sausage thoroughly on the skillet over med-high heat.

Drain grease if necessary.  Add both pkgs of cream cheese to the skillet.

Heat the cream cheese through until it mixes completely with the sausage.

Spread the cream cheese sausage mixture into your slightly baked crust.

Make a top layer out of the rest of the crescent rolls... notice mine aren't flat or perfect, but they will puff up beautifully. Bake at 375*F for around 13 minutes... Watch for a golden brown top... that's when you know its done!

Here's my pie for breakfast with all the fixins.... Thanks for sharing Whit!!!

Sew. Sweet.
