It may be an old carpentry saying... or something my dad makes me repeat anytime we work on a project together, but it's become a mantra in my life and advice worth sharing.
The extra time you spend precisely measuring, pinning carefully, and seeing the big picture... the less time you will be seam ripping and that's something to celebrate!
Keep calm and sew on.
